LTE coverage is still a bottleneck . In many country still the main network is 3G  and LTE is only on hi-dense urban areas.

• developing and improving Massive MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) by vendors in one of the key topic 

• purpose of Massive MIMO is to  tune up base station capacity - it means that more sensors,things,devices (IoT ) are able to connect to 5G Base station.

core network

 Cisco set up collaboration with  Ericsson and Intel to develop first 5G router.
When it will be release ?  Date is unknown.

- support  hi traffic volume
- plan and create core networks and 5G  architectures for handling not only UE and mobile wireless routers as it is in LTE , but also keep in mind :
           - machine-to-machine communication (M2M)
           - and the Internet of Things (IoT).
