Nokia concept of 4.9G

Nokia on Thursday informed  about concept of 4.9G.

Evolution of 4.5G, 4.5G Pro and 4.9G is a way of smoth evolution in 5G direction.

"smooth evolution path that will allow them to increase capacity and improve the user experience while creating new revenue opportunities," said Nokia President of Mobile Networks Samih Elhage .

"it we will provide a smooth evolution path that will allow them to increase capacity and improve the user experience while creating new revenue opportunities," Nokia President of Mobile Networks Samih Elhage said.

improvements

• major increases in LTE capacity,
• coverage
• speed

4.5G

• four carrier aggregation,
• advanced radio modulation techniques
• network-based Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity.

4.9G

• use more icensed and unlicensed spectrum
• deploying highly directional antennas
• more carriers to be aggregated,
• increase throughput to  to more then 1Gbit/s
• continous increase capacity

Reasons for movement from LTE to 5G

LTE deployments

Since 2009 in world was time of small and bigger deployments of LTE NETWORK.
Unfortunatelly now is 2016 year and all of operator are using LTE NETWORK.

Only issue what is happen now are improvements of LTE NETWORK is way of adding additional functionalities to the LTE NETWORK or enhance network.

Improve network capatity and throughput by aggregation
of data streams (carrier agregation)

Working on 5G

Now the option of increase incomes is offering total brand new product as it is 5G
It can not be sell immediately . It needs time and first of all 5G standarad.
