3GPP - project has been started in 1998 after decision of starting europen partneship ETSI with other standard organizations which were involved in creation of 3rd generation cellular networks (3G)
Significant impact on development of 3G have other technologies like GSM 2G based on TDMA .
At the end in work under new standard won CDMA approach . Effect of 3GPP reasearch ware W-CDMA ( UMTS ) and bandwidth : 5MHz used in W-CDMA technology.
