NSA 5G NR specs were approved !!!


Members of 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) - ogranization focused companies invloved in development of telecom standards has created prior version of future standard 5G  . Approved standard described as  Non-Standalone 5G NR (New Radio) . In nutshell : NSA 5G NR . It's related to using for frequency bandwidth : 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 3,5 GHz and 50 GHz . Due to prior stanard version manufacturers of semiconductors responsible for connectivity and transmission can projecting 5G components.

NSA 5G NR specs were approved today at RAN#78. Balazs Bertenyi , RAN Chair called it “an Impressive achievement in a remarkably short time, with credit due particularly to the Working Groups”. News article to follow on the 3GPP site and from 3GPP Member announcements.

It was reported by the Huawei’s CEO of Consumer Business, Yu Chengdong during the World Internet Conference in China . 5G product will be delivered with chipsets from Huawei .  



Looking on the achivements only from this year . 5G Chipset Kiran 970 it presents very good skills from technical point of view . Chipset offers seperate chipset for AI ( Artificial Inteligence ) . This chipset is in the same level as Snapdragon or Exynos .
