Ericsson is the 2017 winner in 5G for Verizon US

Ericsson and Verizon signs agreement according to it Ericsson wil deliver infrastructure needed for 5G network . In some areas of USA 5G is expected to be ready to mid of 2018.


Ed Chan, SVP Technology Strategy and Planning for Corporate Networking and Technology, Verizon says: "5G will change the way we work, interact, learn and play. Through our work with Ericsson, we are creating a clear roadmap and building a robust ecosystem that will enable us to maximize the potential of 5G."





Ericsson predicts that till 2023 year will be  billion users of wideband 5G in the world

In  8th Global Mobile Broadband Forum hosted by Huawei was demonstration of first 5G controlled car .

Huawei, Vodafone and Technical University of Munich presented solution : Audi Q7 remotely controlled from : ontrol panel in the London ExCeL conference centre . It was done by 5G network.

Additionally Huawei and Vodafone presented  other sort of innovative soloutions :
One of them was :  world’s first demonstration of 5G-enabled stream of holographic content.

Qualcomm CEO Steven Mollenkopf claimed at the Frankfurt Motor Show that 5G will arrive in real devices during 2019, and added that should he have been asked last year, he would have estimated it would happen in 2020.
